CCM V10 Ove & V08 shoulder pads

Anyone have experience with these?

I like the idea of the low profile shoulder caps.

Do both of these models have good mobility?

Weight comparable to the One90 shoulder pads?

Are the shoulder caps on the V08 as small as on the V10 Ove?

I think a couple of the big differences are:

v10 ove has no hard plastic = great mobility + lightweight

v08 has slightly higher profile caps, but not HIGH profile

I think the OVE are being marketed as VERy low shoulder profile

Someone will need to fill in the gaps here though, I know this isnt all of the story

I was under the impression that the v10 OVE had more plastic inserts, but could very well be mistaken.

I wish that a shop had these around me.

I like my One90's because they are lightweight and mobile, but i dislike the big shoulder caps, i find it a little difficult to see in my "blind spot" back over my shoulders.

I think i would benefit from the small shoulder caps on the V10 Ove, but not sure how the mobility and weight is.

Rags, I own the V06 and while it's a lower end pad the design seems to be the same. It's not restrictive at all. Coming from a Tacks 1152 it almost feels like I'm not wearing pads.

Looks like the V10 may be bulky.

But maybe the lower ends are not. Like the V08 Limited Edition?
