Places with good shaft selection around Halifax

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a new shaft but there is absolutely no selection where I live (Halifax, Nova Scotia). I'm looking for a higher end shaft (one90, s15, etc). Just wondering if anyone knows of any stores in close proximity with a good selection? Are there any good online retailers that are based in Canada? I'd buy from hockey monkey, etc, but I'm worried they'll ship with UPS or FedEX and leave me with huge duties.

If anyone in the US is interested in selling me a shaft, please send me a PM.

Cleves is your best bet and i know for a fact they have S15's. Try either bayers lake or burnside for the best selection.

As for online stores check out Cyclone Taylor there in BC i do believe. however they ship UPS.

Have you tryed sportwheels in Sackville? they usually have a pretty good selection of high end shafts.

Thanks for the responses guys. I checked out Cleve's in bayer's lake, they might have had 10 Sr shafts. Two of them were S15's but they were both grip and 100 flex (i'm looking for 85). They were also priced at $170. Steep. I also checked Sport Wheels and they didn't have anything either. It seems as though no one wants to stock shafts anymore; they're only concerned with one pieces.

I checked cyclone taylor. They have few options but no One90. Anyone know of any other Canadian online retailers? I guess I could always watch ebay...

thehockeyshop.com has a decent selection but the prices aren't always the best.

I found this for you, there was also an 85 flex ST shaft on that page. Might be a little pricy, but i hope this helps.
