did the avs-bruins skip 2nd intermission?

i turned on the game with about 2 minutes to go in the 2nd period.. then went to get a drink and they were dropping the puck for the start of the 3rd period.

the game is live.. it's 1125 central time here.. and it's 925 pacific time over there..

did they skip the 2nd intermission?

just a random question. never seen a game have the intermission skipped.

they mentioned a delay of game because the glass broke but i never thought that took more than 5-10 minutes to replace.

glass broke with 2 and change to go in the second, they just played the last couple minutes after the intermission, then played the third right away. It happens a few times every season.

i was watching and thinking..'damn. they don't get an intermission? this isn't a drop in session, where you get a breather then you start the next period.'

great game though! the pass from savard to ryder for the goal was insane :o
