CCM Bonk Curve

Recommended Posts

I think my dad has a few lightly-used 1st generation Vectors in a Bonk curve.

I could find out, if you're feeling nostalgic...

Edit - Lefties

Any idea if they make them anymore or anything like it.. what I have been trying to find is ANY brand other than NBH that has something close to the p88, all i have found is Hossa in mission but those are kinda hard to come by too... I love the way my dolo feels but kinda don't like the curve on it...

Yeah, I actually heard about those I think...

Is that a good shop there in the Cube?

I can't find anywhere around here that I trust to sharpen my skates - I always just wait for a weekend when I can go home (I'm a student here, I'm from West Bloomfield) and do them myself.

its a decent shop lots of twigs, they do a decent job on my skates too, work is is that there is a cobbler shop downtown that actually does them too, i know they do tounges and steel but i recently heard they put a good edge on too...

best thing you can do for your skates around there would either be skateworks, in Troy or if you have the time to go up to Jon's Hockey Shop in hartland i would suggest those two places above all else in terms of skate sharpening problem... as far as the bonk curve. you know you can get a mold done of if and then have a shop make blades for you, it would be pricey but you would get the exact replica and on the plus side it would at least have your name....

they come in bundles of 12 by the way for most custom blade orders

I know about Skateworks, I've heard great things.

That said, all I'm trying to find is a guy who at least knows what a radius of hollow is <_<

i would say go directly to the guy at Yost. i would almost garuntee that you will find a "diamond in the rough" skate sharpening guy there. i know the guy at Munn (just the rink attendant) did a great job on my skates on two occasions when i needed emergency sharpenings and if i went to MSU i would probbaly just let him do them every time. so i would think Yost would have a similar guy.

Yeah, a kid on my team actually just got a job at Yost and they're teaching him to sharpen.

Hopefully he'll get good, and my problems will be solved :P

I believe you are thinking of college shoe repair.

Any idea where to get one... it seems no one carries them anymore

Are you looking for OPS or replacement blades? I was at HockeyMonkey this past weekend, and they had a couple CCM 120 Bonk replacement blades....although I forget if they were LH or RH.
