Bauer One55 Shaft

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any experience with this shaft yet? I understand its fairly new, I ran the search feature and found nothing. Price is not to bad around 50 bucks. I have not bought a shaft since TPS rubber came out, they lasted me for about 4 years, very durable good shaft. I am very hard on shafts, I have to rotate them as they become bowed every so often from slappers. Am I wasting my money with a new One 55 shaft or should I just stick with my old aluminum Easton shaft in my basement and save my money for the One95 or a nice Easton? What ya think.

P.S. I take more slappers than snappers and many of them are one timers.

Composite sticks don't tend to "bow" like an aluminum would, they break. You won't find one that will last as long as an aluminum but it should perform alot better, I don't know much about the 55, but as far as durability goes I've found the old TPS stuff to be the most durable.

Hockeygiant has some of the TPS rubber shafts on special... 40 bones, or something.... and the 0ne55 for cheap. Sorry no feedback on the one55, but you mentioned really liking the TPS Rubber...

I have a One55 87 flex and hate it, it feels like it is a 55 flex. Way too whippy for my tastes. Also feels cheap and flimsy, I'd recommend either getting a TPS rubber or saving up for the holy grail of shafts the Z-Bubble/S-15.
