Tackla Pants

Recommended Posts

Actually, I messed up. There is an ONE90 pant and an ONE90 girdle. Next year, there'll be ONE95 pant as well as girdle.

Any more info on differences between one90 and one95 pant beside liner and logo? Thanks

I have had the Tackla 5000's for a couple years now. Tried some Bauer 5000's, but came back to the Tackla's. I had a pair of old tackla's that were the best fitting pant I've tried on. No idea on the version though.

Might have to get another pair as mine are getting cut up a bit. Sewing skills are just not there...

ive had a pair of tackla 9000's for a few years now, they are holding up very very very well. i had a tear in the back that my mom sewed up for me, and that so far has been the only thing thats broken.

i went to my LHS yesterday and felt some rbk 7ks and bauer xxxx and xxv, the tackla fit and finish seems lightyears ahead of the bauers. both in quality of the padding, structure of the pant, materials used, everything. the bauers did have a nicer and taller spine protector which was the only thing i thought was better.

the 9000's stay pretty dry and a really similar weight before and after game, the padding is excellent, the fit, on me at least, is perfect and they are really easy to move in

+1 for tackla

One of the biggest advantages Tackla has is their exact sizing where you get a closer fit to your waist size. For the most part most manufacturers use the standard M 32-34, L 36-38 sizing. I have some pro stock Easton Airs (size 52 which I believe is 33-34) that have the same sizing scheme as the Tackla. I'm 6'3 so I need the length and have a 33-34 waist but the standard M is usually too short and the L are too loose.
