Itech visor on ccm helmet

I just bought a itech visor(a straight one with pre drilled holes) and have put it on my old ccm 652 helmet atfter get rid of a cage! my problem is the visor sticks out a few inches from the front of the helmet! i just wondered if this was normal has its my first time using a visor! i can bring the visor closr to the helmet but the placement of the holes make the visor go a a funny angle, with the bottom futher out than the top of visor! thanks

are you sure you have the screws lined up as far foreward in the pre-drilled slots as possible? it's not a problem as long as it's not sticking out too far.

I have visor on both of my helmets. I think that if you have a little gap at the front your visor will be less likely to fog up

its normal. you want that space in front of your nose to breath and prevent your nose from getting torn up.

Could the visor possibly be mounted upside down? It happens sometimes ^_^

okay thanks a lot for your help! yea it only sits about an inch and half of front of helmet so will just leave it! Don't know much about half visors and thought it just looked a bit different!
