Anyone else out there using this stick?

I picked one up today as I'm dropping down to intermediate whippy sticks...really nice. Smooth satin coating, stiff blade, really skinny taper. First time using the Rafalski (Sakic) curve, so my shots are a little off target, but they are flying flatter.

I don't know if it's dropping from 75 flex to 65 flex or that really narrow taper, but my passes were much, much better. Lots of good feedback from my teammates. First time I've been able to consistently hit people on the tape from blue line to blue line.

Anyways, just wanted to give a heads up this is a solid stick. I don't know about the senior versions, they might be a lot heavier, but the intermediates are nice. Much better than your average price point stick.

The shaft is about the same size as most intermediates. The shaft wall is a little taller and a little thinner than some other intermediate sticks I've felt, but the overall diameter is the same. It's definitely a bit smaller than my senior Dolomite. There is however no way to replace the blade that I can see, because the taper is so much narrower than anything else. You might be able to put a junior tapered blade in there, but I don't know for sure. I just hope it holds up for a while...

I noticed the SR sized Pyro was a little off balance, pretty blade heavy. As much of a Mission advocate as I am- you could probably find a better stick in the $125 price range. Again though, this was a SR. With everyone cleaning house on the Mission products, I'd rather keep 'em peeled for deals on V-Hex, Fuels, etc.

I agree, it is a tad blade heavy...but I'm using a long Sakic blade on a little intermediate stick right now. The senior stick might be a lot different, but I'd think it would be balanced better. I got mine for under $90 from a LHS that's closing them out, so it wasn't a lot of cash, but I think some online stores are blowing out Mission sticks for cheaper.

Anyways, puck feel is great on it, I played center tonight and it has some paint chips from the draws (I was afraid they might be hard on the slim taper), but so far no damage to the structure, and it's still very stiff. Didn't even reach for the Dolomite once tonight so I had some confidence with it, which is nice.
