Heavyweight practice jerseys....

I'm looking for a heavyweight "pro" type practice jersey. Bauer made one that says prowear on the tag and it's also got the fightstrap attached. It's a thick material with double sewn elbows and shoulders. I've got an Indianapolis Ice practice jersey I got my hands on, but it's too nice and too big to wear. It's a size 56 and I propably wear a 48 or 50. I wouldn't mind just finding a plain black or white one for pickup hockey. It doesn't look like they make it anymore and searching online has not come up with many results.

Try looking for an unbranded CCM or Athletic Knit jersey. I'm pretty sure those would be close to what you're looking for. My AK jersey that I wear for games is a heavyweight polyester with double elbows and shoulders. The unbranded jerseys are the exact same thing as far as I know. I don't think all of the jerseys have the double elbows though. You should be able to find them on Hockey Giant or Hockey Monkey. I'm thinking about picking up one or two for pick-up games as well.

I think i have a red QMJHL one... Im not 100% sure is bauer, but from you discription its sounds like what i have. possibly would be willing to sell it...

If it's from the Q, it ain't Bauer. CHL has an exclusive RBK/CCM deal for that kind of thing.

well just went down and checked it out... its a bauer. has the old looking bauer b-soowsh logo, big bauer on the back bottom, fighting starp and size 56... fight me good and im about 6'0''

that sounds like exactly what i'm looking for, but i'm 5'7" and the one i have now is the same size and i'm swimming in it.

Most of the pro stuff will be in the larger sizes. Your best bet is probably prowling Ebay.
