phoenixgold 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2008 Ok this thread is for my buddy, he can't seem to stop with both feet. i think he can the one way right or left not too sure....but doesn't seem to have any down pressure on the one skate, i don't know what to tell him cuz i can just do it and it's not a problem and i don't even think about it i just do it, maybe starting to skate on the old style rocket skates helped with that but he just can't get it. Cant seem to turn with both feet either.. I have read something about grabbing the boards and dragging the one skate and each time putting more and more pressure on it but i dunno.. I think it's more of a balance thing. Just thought I would throw it out there...
Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2008 Get your buddy some actual coaching. Someone that can analyze his technique and make the relevant changes. Its also a matter of practice and just getting the feel of the "slide" on ice to begin with.
