Flex question pro stock Dolo tapered

Recommended Posts

I've searched and read all the old posts on this topic, but am looking for some clarification. Have a chance to pick up a pro stock Dolo marked at 300 flex. Question...is the general consensus that these are equal to an 80 flex (as stated in the MSH flex chart), or does 300 really mean 85? I've read conflicting accounts...Can one still look inside the shaft to see what the actual flex rating is marked at (I thought I read that they do this on pro stocks). Or might the answer be that since it's pro stock, who knows?!

Thanks

I've found the 300 flexier than a usual 85, but you'll probably get the same answers you found reading up on it. Slight difference of opinion, some say true 85, others will say little less. In my experience it's been a little less than an 85, so an 80.

I've found the shafts flex vary as much as the opinions. Some shafts with the same flex are off the rack whippier than others. Great QC, let me tell you.

you should be able to get the flex off the sticker in the top end. as far as the consistency it is hard to tell with out being hands on.
