Hi, so im looking for a new glove because my Vapor XV is torn apart. So i was looking for a new glove, im looking into the SE6 because I always loved the Synergy series, even know i never had a pair. I was thinking of this or a Stealth S7 or Vapor XVI of XXV. whats your opinion?

+1 for that, I've made that mistake before...just one of those things you can't pick out of a catalogue, you can narrow a few down but definitely try some on, some of my favourite looking gloves feel like shit to me and vice versa

edit: I noticed you're coming of a XV, I used those gloves and bought 4-rolls and if it helps, the next gloves i get will be xxx or xxxx's...vapors have a unique fit and if you liked them I'd look in that direction again as well

I have several brands and for me the Jofa 2500 gloves from Hockey World are fantastic for the price of like $28.00. They have the 4 backrolls and are super comfortable and for a lower end glove they are built very well. I think they have navy/silver and red/wht/black in size 15. I also recently bought the Franklin 9505's from Hockey World in red/wht/blue in size 14.5 for $49.00. I played in them last night and man they are nice. If you don't have to buy the newest/most modern gear you can get some great (retro) stuff at fantastic prices and its kind of cool having the older stuff you don't see every day.

I use the Se6 and quite like them for the price. I went to 13" after using 14" gloves my whole life and I like the snug fit they have. I tried on a pair of Warrior Franchises and while they're pretty and awfully light, they're just not worth an extra ~$130 to me.

So yeah, for the price, the Se6 is really nice.

ya, i actually narrowed it down to the SE6 and the Vapor XXV, and haha, i thought the 5k looked nice, but when i tried it on, that felt like Sht

For what its worth I went from a Vapor XX 12" to a Vapor XXV 12"(which I lost), the 25's are much lighter and a tad bit tighter fitting, I would suggest you try them on if possible.

ya, i tried the 25's at a LHS close by, and they said they had the SE6's but i couldnt find em. so ya, i tried on the XXV's, plus i even tried the Tps R6

hey guys, thanks for the responses, i went to my LHS and got a vapor XVI, i thought that the XVI and XXV felt the same in weight and comfort, so i just got the XVI 12"

I seem to remember someone telling me the palms on XVIs wears down really fast. I don't remember if I was told it or read it here on the boards. Hope they work out though.
