Easton SE tapered shaft VS Synthesis shaft

Recommended Posts

I've just gone back to using my Easton Synthesis shaft with a Warrior Dolomite 2 blade in the end - I love it but have one issue with it, the blade fits too loosely, even if I put some tape around it.

I'm thinking of buying the Easton Synergy Elite tapered shaft but have a couple of q's.....

(1) Will a Dolomite blade fit in it perfectly or will I have the same problem where the blade feels a little loose inside the shaft?

(2) Is there much different between the old Synthesis shaft and the new SE shaft? I love the square/bulky feel of the Synthesis shaft.....is the SE the same shape?

cheers

I remember my synthesis was pretty round feeling compared to my other eastons so it may very well feel even more boxy. I think the performance will be similar but I think theyre a little lighter

The synthesis end is bigger than a dolomite shaft. So I assume the dolomite blade connector will be smaller than a synthesis blade.

I use a synthesis blade, easy to go into a Synergy II shaft but has to work hard to put it into the Dolomite shaft.

So, I guess maybe your dolo blade will be a bit loose in a Easton shaft.
