nbh vapor xxxx stick durability

A good buddy of mine bought a brand new vapor xxxx with stick'um 2 months ago, he plays 2-3 times a week. At the top of his stick he only tapes a knob and there's no tape where he holds the stick. The stick'um at that spot has completely worn off. There doesn't seem to be anyone else on here to bring up the issue so i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else on modsquad.

His previous stick was a vapor xxx-lite with stick'um and no issues with the grip on that one... oh and he wears vapor xxx gloves if that helps any.

I find in a month or less (most of the time) the grip wears out no mater what the stick is.

just depends on the grip, its going to come off ultimately but some quicker than others. in my experiance it just flys off warrior sticks whereas the grip on the high-end rbk's is brilliant. probably the only good thing about them :D

i found the grip just peeled off of my 9kO. i've always found easton's grip to be the best because it doesnt peel like warrior and other manufacturers

my one90 grip wore off super quick, but i guess its to be expected

yea off my xxxx stick'um where my bottom hand goes the grip has started to wear off...its true i find easton grip to last a lot longer (except my s17)

but i have had my stick'um for about 3 months and i have used it for both ice and roller so id say im using it about 3-4 times a week so after that much use the grip has started to wear
