Misaligned Holders Affecting My Crossovers?

I've noticed that on my skates, the holders aren't aligned the same way on both. It seems like the holder on the left skate is slightly more to the inside than the one on the right skate, which seems to be well aligned down the middle of the skate when looking at it from the back. To give you some idea what I mean, the holder on the right skate is nicely aligned like in the following picture while the left skate's blade/holder is in line with the "TO" part of "PRO STOCK":

I've also had trouble with crossovers, in particular my right-over-left crossovers, where I've often slipped off the outside edge of my left skate after what has felt like my skate boot touching the ice. Could these two things be related? Could the holders be misaligned and be the cause of the problems? Or I am just unable to do crossovers properly?

It could be related if the holder is far enough off line.
