what shin pads to fit over brace?

hey everyone,

just got my custom knee brace made up, its supposed to be small enough to fit underneath shin pads for hockey etc, but its not working out too well with my one90 shin pads. can anyone recoommend a shin pad thats big enough to fit around/over top of the brace?

What brace did you have made? I have a CTi2 brace and it fits nicely under my Rbk 4k shinguards. I removed the knee foam padding from the inside (it's velcroed on) and then had to modify a piece in the shinguard a little to help the brace sit flush w/ the pad... also I have a patella cup (knee pad) which was an option on the knee brace (I usedto use it for DH mtn biking and snowboarding as well), so that's why I removed the foam knee padding. As far as width, the Rbk/Jofa line has worked out well, my last pair was an old jofa pair whih worked great. I'll try to get some pics tonight of the brace and shinguard as it seems this topic comes up from time to time.

I had the "bladerunner" made by a local company here in Edmonton, if you search in google "karl hager bladerunner" you can find a pic. I'm on my iPhone right now otherwise I would post a link myself. It's similar to the donjoy defiance. I can force my one90 shin on but it's not a pretty sight, I'm just wondering if it's going to move around and whatnot and if I'll be sacrificing protection if so
