Shin Guards : Supreme70 or XXV?

hi everyone, the kneecaps on my supreme 70s just broke after about half a season of use. i play on a college team as a LW and i block a lot of point shots.

i really like the fit and protection of the supreme70, but it seems the kneecaps on these are terrible in terms of durability.

does anyone know how the XXVs compare in terms of protection and durability?

I'm also curious about this as I'm looking at both Supreme and Vapor models to replace my old SGs.

If you like the Supremes the Vapors won't fit as well. They're a slimmer fit with a more narrow kneecap.

Personally I'd go with the Supreme 70's, but get the ones that fit you the best.

I have the XXVs (used about five times per week) and have taken some decent hits to the kneecap and it has held up fine. I've had them for a while now and, other than superficial logo scratches, is holding up just fine.

And yep, they are significantly more narrow in the shin than the Supreme 70s.

I would say the supreme's would be better for what you're doing, EG - blocking shots

the supreme 70s are nice and they do give me excellent protection (no bruises on my calves since getting them) but i'm inclined to not buy the same pads knowing they'll fail me in less than a year.

ordered a pair of XXXXs, hopefully they last me more than 1 season!

the supreme 70 is mutch better for me.

i dont like the vapor products!
