TPS Curve

Recommended Posts

Hi

I bought a TPS blade at National and it was labelled as pro overrun, it is a wood blade with a low kick, and it was labelled either as 'P31' or 'P27' i forget. Anyways as these will not be around for long, and me not wanting to buy anything from national, can someone tell me what curve this is similar to in any other company.

I don't really know too much about player equipment yet as I am new to it all so I don't know the answer, but i will catch along sooner or later.

anyways here is the pic

if the picture was a direct overhead, I would have to agree that that curve is loftier than a modano, yet still a heel curve no doubt. Next time you drop by your LHS take a stick with the modo curve and look at it with your eyes about a foot higher than the butt end of the shaft, and I think you'll see what I'm trying to say. A third opinion is probably needed here

i got a pm saying it looks like a Weight, and it is similar, but Warrior only offer composite blades, I don't really wanna drop $75 on a blade.

Could it be similar to a Gagne P106? The picture that I am looking at is of a righty so it is hard to picture it in a lefty. And Bauer has the Vapor XXXX which is reasonably priced and it has the low kick that i like

That looks a lot like the P31 that I've been using for a few years now. 5ish lie, fairly flat on the bottom, heel curve and slightly more open than a modano. I still have a few RH blades left and then I'll have to find a new supplier.
