what do you think about the new easton helmet (- compared to the rbk 8k)?

If you need a wide helmet your probably better to go with the 8K. Easton helmets run a bit narrow. Quality is about the same. Same with protection. Both are fairly comfortable.

I've got an S17 helmet and it's okay, the biggest problem is that it does a really crappy job with keeping the sweat out of your eyes, i also have the s9 and the vn foam helps to reduce the sweat on face and in the eyes a lot better

Mine fits nicely. Size L noggin and all. Use an UA skull cap under it. With Giro involved they are on top of things. I know from my other hobby (mountain biking) that Giro stuff is superb.

i like the fit of mine as well, but definitely agree with the sweat coming into your eyes. maybe i'll give a skull cap a try.

hmm. if i have to wear a skull cap because of the sweat coming down i think i better keep my 8k or try another helmet....
