Hi im new to the forum so this is my first post. Now that warrior have stopped making the smyth curve i need a new one.

Would anyone be able to tell me how the bergeron compares to a smyth? I know its a mid and the smyth is a toe, but is there much of a difference.

Hey, welcome to msh

Try looking through the pattern db (button in top right of page) for curve questions. According to that, the Bergeron is just a mid curve where as Smyth is a mid-toe. I used the Bergeron on my 7k and I loved it, and I'll tell you its no to curve.

If you go to a site like icewarehouse.com and poke around in their one-piece and replacement blade sections they'll have pretty good profile shots of most of the curves. Just going off the straight numbers can be tough, so maybe get an idea by looking around both the Pattern DB provided here and a site with pictoral resources.

i have the bergeron p30 as well. i keep it on my backup stick because i'm milking my last yzerman blade on the other. its pretty close to the Y. nice mid curve, not much loft.
