Vapor XII skates

A co-worker of mine just picked up a pair, new in the box, at Play it Again and the "helper" was not sure. Last pair of skates I bought were 652VT so I am old school baking. I figured a skate that low in the range would not have the guts to bake, but maybe they have come a long way since I was a regular shopper. I tried searching the past topics, checked Bauers site, and checked a few online retailers to no avail. Thanks for any help.

My roommate has them and I think you can bake them. I think there were instructions in the box when he got them but I can't say for sure. Were there instructions in the box?

Talk about "Old School", I am just starting to skate again (after 10 years) and my last pair of skates were Daoust 501s.

I picked up a pair of Bauer Vapor XVs and had them baked. They feel almost as good as my old skates.

Had to modify the tounge though (odd shaped ankles).

you can bake them but it's only gonna me them warm for the period being. but really I don't think it'll do much with that skate.

I seem to remember when I bought my Vapor's that only the XXII's and higher were heat moldable.

I'm pretty sure they're not designed to be baked, I owned a pair and trust me you don't need to anyways. They'll be fully broken in after 30 minutes of hard skating.

A friend of mine got them as a beginer skate, and yes you can bake them, of coarse if your a larger person you might not get that much out of them
