Sham Wow sweatbands

Recommended Posts

As seen on the reveiw board... Sham Sweatband review

If anyone else here on the board makes up some sham-bands and tries them out I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on them.

Obviously I made up sets for my brother and myself, that was how we dialed in the design we liked. More recently I made up sets for my goalie opponent at Monday night hockey, one of the Windsor Wildcats female goalies and the goalie on my wife's league team. Matt (monday nights) was as impressed with them as we were. I haven't heard from the other two yet... but I'd really like to hear from some MSH guys.

i would imagine these would work pretty well as long as you clean them afterwards - it seems like the type of material that would grow mold pretty easily if you forgot to dry them out after a game.

A guy I play shinny with fairly regularly just folds one and puts it on top of his bald head inside his helmet and loves how it keeps the sweat out of his eyes.

I made one up using an Itech Cool-max sweatband as a base then wrapping it with Shamwow. Works really well, nice and soft while super absorbent. But, I don't know if I notice a huge difference than when I just used the plain Itech sweatband. It's definitely more comfortable, but probably works about the same.
