One More Pants question (Easton and Warrior)

Recommended Posts

I said before I wasn't a big fan of their stuff, but I've never looked hard at their pants. Are they any good? I heard that there is not alot of negative space which is sort of what I'm looking for. Also, mobility is key. And how are Warrior pants? They're ads are obnoxious, but I've had good luck with their sticks.

I was pretty impressed with Warriors pants. All around comfortable and pretty protective (hustler), felt like it had good range of motion. If I needed new pants I would probably go with Warrior. They would be the same pants that the pros would be using according to my rep.

Used my Hustlers for the first time on Friday at drop-in and I loved then, light and comfortable, equally as mobile as the One90s I was using before yet not as snug fitting on the inside.

just bought a pair of XL warrior hustlers, very comfortable, no negative space, all the padding i stiched internally so theres no snags or anything when your putting them on, the feature i like the best is the spine pad and the fact that theres stretch material on the inside of the legs and near your groin hip flexor area so that theres no friction when doing quick crossovers or starts...feels like your skating with no pants on despite having great protection for the legs

No, the pro-spec pant is not the same as the retail. The retail pant is slightly downspec'd.

I have a pair of the Method pants...They offer pretty good protection. I thought their tail bone and back support they offered are pretty good for their price point at that time($99CND). Mobility was good but got better as the pants broke in. They were comfortable and not too bulky. When i was trying on Easton S5 and SE16 yes they offer more protection but they add a lot more bulk. Only knock i have on the Warrior Methods is the Six pack protector never sits properly.

Overall i like them and would suggest them if the price is right.

yeah i thought that was a little phony

the tailbone padding isn't quite pro-level

i have a pair of easton s9 pants and i absolutely love them! the protection is excellent but mobility is not restricted at all. they do seem bulky when trying them on but they dont hinder at all and even get better with time.

Pros go both.

Retail spec internals and "beefed-up" internals. It's about a 50/50 split.
