Slimmer Gloves?

Recommended Posts

too bad i like the frachise glove, the narrows just a lil loose any chance if i get custom i can get it to be a lil tighter?

Call them and ask. There customer service is excellent. They are all really nice and friendly.

I talked to them a few times when I had a problem with my Royale gloves. They replaced them for me even though I didn't have a receipt (xmas present from my wife and she lost it)

cool thx, i'll do that when i need new gloves xP

and k13, try a mission fuels 120/130 their pretty good too and much are on closeout now so cheap

Vapor xxxx are a really nice fit. I've been looking at those for a while... sound like they fit the bill for what you are looking for...I'll be hitting the source for sports in Ajax this weekend I know they are clearing out some of their equipment. I'll let you know what's available

Went on the LHS marathon today, here are my thoughts:

Supreme one90 - these things are lightweight bricks. Snug, but no flex in these gloves at all. The piece of plastic? below the pinky on the side of the glove ruined it. Pretty painful to wear.

Vapor XXXX - great palm, great feel, but too loose

X72i - not even close. WAY too lose.

TPS R8 - see Vapor XXXX

Fuel 130 - Great feeling glove, would have been my #1 choice (plus they were on sale, almost $100 off), but they were just a tad too loose for my liking

RBK 6K - Great snug fit, pretty good frexability, decent looking palm

RBK 9K - same as the 6K, slightly looser fit, much better flexablility and palm

TPS Summit S7 - The big surprise. By far the snuggest fit of them all, with great flexability and a great palm. Very comfortable.

I went with the 6K's, cause the TPS Summit S7's cost $150. I didn't think it was worth it for that price. The 6K's felt just as great, but I wished they had a better palm. The Fuel130's are a great glove, and since they're on sale, i'd highly recommend them for anyone in need of a new glove.

Hope this thread helps someone in the future.

Thanks for everyone's help!

edit: forgot to add: Warrior Dolomite glove was pretty snug too!

The XXXX isn't very loose, but it is looser in the palm than, say the supreme but it's a bit tighter at the base of the palm... Kind of like the original Warrior hockey gloves, but a little snugger. The TPS R8 is looser than the XXXX, closer to Eastons fit.

You sound like you have pretty small hands... Which as I said before, is perfect for CCM/RBK. Small and snug fingers are going to work better for you than NBH's rather long fingers. I bet if you went down a size in the Supremes, you would have loved them.

I would have loved the surpremes, but that one piece on the outside of the hand (below the pinky) really really bothered me. The glove wouldn't flex at all for me. To me, the XXXX was loose, but definately not as loose as the Eagles/Warriors/TPS R8's.

Yeah, the PPFs would have been a closer fit for you than the X72, which is wider. I think that the issue with the Supremes wouldn't have been an issue if you went down a size. I felt it in the 15" gloves, didn't feel it in the 14" gloves.

The Warriors I was referring to was the Super Macdaddy, Macdaddy and Dolomite. Which were very similar in fit to the XXXX but maybe a hair looser in the hand.

You'd probably also be ok with Salming gloves.
