Mission Stick Warranty

Recommended Posts

So I emailed Mission about sending back my Fuel Ti-Pro because it broke, they gave me a number and I called, and now they are trying to tell me I have to bring it back to where I bought the stick. This doesn't seem right, I've broken Sticks from other manufactures and it was always return the stick to the company and they send the stick back, is this something that is resulting from the Bauer purchase or am I being fed a line of crap, I would have no problem returning it however where I bought it is in a different state and I'm at school and if my parents are going to bring it back I feel bad making them go out of state just to return a stick.

Mission is one of the only companies left that allows you to bring the stick back to the dealer. Not sure why your LHS wont accept it. Personally this works great for me. I can get rid of all the Mission sticks i have left in stock by giving them as replacements and send the broken ones back to them for full credit. Its a win win situation for me. In the end im getting rid of something that barely sells!!

Mission wouldn't credit us for shipping costs on returned sticks. With margins being thin enough already, $5 or $10 to ship back every broken stick can have a negative impact on your bottom line. I don't blame the shop for not handling the transaction, especially if they aren't a Bauer dealer.

If mission says to return the stick back to the LHS and the LHS won't do it then I would call mission back and tell them. I'm pretty sure the shop has to follow missions policy if they are a dealer.

I just went through a warrantee return with mission and when i called she just gave me the address and told me to send it in. I would just call back and they should give you a RMA.

It did take forever though, and i had to have MSH'r Zac911 push it along as someone at mission dropped the ball.

btw, I sent in a Ti-grip and received a Titanium as a replacement. Sounds like it would be a positive, but i actually preferred the Ti-grip.

Yea, my mom is going to run it up to the shop tomorrow, i'd do it my self but im at school and have a game, I don't really care who it goes to, if the shop says okay and they can give me another or a credit i'll be happy, if not then hopefully mission will step up and deal with it.

If the dealer doesn't have a Bauer account, who is going to punish them for not following the policy?

It's not the official policy and some stores may have better success selling those sticks than you do. Hence, it's totally up to the LHS.
