Easton pro stock pant durability

Recommended Posts

I just recently purchased a pair of Easton Pro Stock pants. These pants, like the CCM pro tack / HP520 pro stock pants have a detachable lower section. The way to secure the lower section to the hip girdle is by buttoning the lower section onto the hip pad girdle. I know most of you know what I am talking about.

So my question is this. How durable are these securing points? The material which makes up the button hole looks a little thin; even though I know it is made of some heavy duty nylon shell material. I am just worried that I will go along the boards and rip the button holes. I am not sure if this has been a problem with these two part pants, so if you guys can help me out at all I would really appreciate it. Also have you heard much about the buttons rusting out / pulling off the pants? Thanks again for the help.

I have never heard of anyone having any problems with a pro issue pant in ripping the bottom part off. I even know guys that have mixed and matched different brands where all the holes didn't lineup so they only attached half of the points and no problems. The pants will probably break down and rip in other areas before that happens.

its a series of buttons that are on normal pants for suspenders , but there are many more of them and are heavy duty, you wont have a problem with them
