Des Moines roller hockey?

I am moving to Des Moines and was wondering if anyone knew if they have a roller hockey rink or league anywhere near by?

They have ice hockey... thats about all i know of. My friend used to be the tender for the Bucks last year.

I looked it up and found a place called Skate West in West Des Moines, anyone heard of it?

They do have an inline program as well as a ice program. I don't know where the inline group plays out of but it's probably skate west. It's not a bad program but there is not alot of inline in this part of the country. I believe they have an inline speed skating program too, which makes for some killer youth inline hockey players.

I know some form of an inline league exists, but it seems quite a few inline guys came over to ice in the past couple of years. Might be a reason for that, might not. Just an observation.

Are you looking for adult or youth hockey? I know some guys that play adult inline in des moines that would help you out.

Yeah I play Adult Silver/Gold right now here in Michigan but am moving in July.
