if you mean that the heel is like "hollowing out" i would advise WOOD CALK. i have done that before and it worked out perfectly.

Don't think that wood caulk would work very well in a composite stick. I have had luck in the past using JB Weld or something similar.

Kinda looks like it is beyond saving. How long have you had it? If it were me I would start looking for a new stick. I know what you mean about the splinters though, my old goalie sticks had a "graphite" covering on the shaft and would splinter like it was their job after one good whack from a puck.

not even a year. i have two other sticks but the curve on this one is good for clearing the puck. i can actually elevate it

How often do you play? A year is a pretty long time for a stick to last for me. I play 3 or 4 times a week.

That's a pretty good life for a composite stick. Might be time to retire it.

Only thing I can suggest is a two-part gel epoxy (LePage or whatever), but even then, it it may only get you another game or two.

well i did play about 4-5 times a week during practices and games, but that was only for the regular season game. A little drop in here and there too

Try putting duct tape over the splintering part (wrap it like it is hockey tape) and then heat it up on the stove. I do this with my player sticks when they start to splinter. The heat literally shrinks the duct tape a bit and using a puck you can really push the duct tape down into the blade. It is incredibly hard to get off, but will keep you from getting splinters until the stick finally breaks.

Find a SRS repair shop, they should be able to do it for you. I just repaired my Vector which had broken in two pieces on the lower shaft.
