interpathway 9 Report post Posted March 15, 2009 I'm not a user, but many people here have stated that there is little to no difference. As Chadd, I believe he reviewed the S17 and preached this.
crazy-luke-finch 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2009 so is the S17 a very whippy stick?
tamtamg 12 Report post Posted March 15, 2009 easton does not rate the flex of sticks at length. you have to cut off a 3 in inches to get the rated flex.
interpathway 9 Report post Posted March 15, 2009 Initial impressions: Easton has done it again in the looks department. From a purely cosmetic standpoint, this stick looks fantastic and has enough shelf appeal to convince mommy and daddy that this is the best stick that money can buy. Stick is very light but seemed to be balanced in favor of maneuverability, thus making the stick a little blade light. And the flex, my god the flex. I usually work in the 100-110 flex range, and this stick surprised the hell out of me with the first flex. While the 100 flex is definitely debatable (easily a 85-90), the torque and visible flex are definitely along the whippier lines. 9/

TomMc#4 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2009 i wouldnt say the 100 flex s17 was as whippy as a NB 87. true it felt a lil whippier because its a 95 at full length but not as whippy as an 87 imo
