SynysterGates 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 Every stick I've ever had has lasted me around 5-6 months playing 4-5 days a week, and they usually break easily.I have one of the Green Synergy ST's, and that has lasted me a year and a half, like, it will not break, and it still feels like its new. Sure its a little bit heavier than an S17 or an SL/SE16/Elite, but it lasts forever. Are the new ones made the same, or have they changed. Because I can't find any green ST's anywhere I go. McDougalfaschnitzer 32 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 I have a few new STs and they are still holding up after a while. For the price, give one a shot and see how it goes.
firestud17 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 It's one of those sticks where you can't argue with the price for such great durability. It will outlast most sticks in that category.

ntwusc 62 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 From what I've heard, the ST's really haven't changed at all in the last few years besides graphics.

aarondevera 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 +1I've got a few pro stock, 1st-gen Synergy STs, and they're still going strong after almost two years. I just can't seem to make one of those things explode, even after going through at least a half dozen high-end OPSs and a few two-piece shafts. IMO, the ST is hands-down my all-time favourite stick, and as long as Easton keeps making the relatively same twig with updated graphics, I'll keep buying 'em. westcoastsniper 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 It's my understanding that the ST is the old ultra-lite, in which case you would be right in suggesting that is a very dependable shaft. Just new graphics every 1 or 2 years. But really, if the product works, and all that statement contains, who gives a damn if its an old makeup?

Still though, I own the ST shaft as well, and love it almost as much.
CTHockey 2 Report post Posted March 18, 2009 Believe it or not the Easton ST is a extremely popular stick in the NHL. At the end of the season we get sticks from 3-4 pro teams and i'd say about 50-60% of them are Easton ST's.. Some are painted to look like the S17 or the SE16 but they are all in fact ST's

team50 20 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 For anyone that really likes the green ST, Sport Mart in Oakville, ON on Oak Walk Drive has a handful of sticks, left and right. No name on the nameplate. Curve looks similar to a Drury. I think they were either 129 or 139.
Jason91 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2009 If you're looking for older ST's i've seen some of the 2nd gen st grips, the orange ones, around here for something like $139.99, there are also the non grip all blue ones for $129.
