Tackla Sizing 5000x or 9000 long

Recommended Posts

I have a sizing question about Tckla pants. Finally found a way to buy me new pants, and I'd really like to get me Tacklas. My wish are the 5000x. Cause I'm from Germany and nobody sells them here, I'm glad, that I (hopefully) can get Canadian made ones to order. I am about 6'' (6.02') and with 183lb a little skinny...my pants before were ccm and tps both in large, they fit me lengthwise, but I have to tighten the lace till the wholes nearly overlap and the belt is forced to the max...I measured my waist, and it's about 34/35'', but I'm wearing 32/34 sometimes 33/34jeans. (read about waist measurement compared to jeans sizing in bodybuilder forums, you will laugh so bad :P )I'm always right between M and L in US sizes ...so I came down to a Tackla size 50 instead of 52...does anybody know, if they are long enough or how much the difference is between the length in 50 or 52? or must I go with 9000 in 50 +2'' ?

edit for typo...sorry my English sucks

Dont Euro pants find a bit long in the 1st place compared to North American brands? My Graf 700s are a bit longer than the same size in a CCM or Bauer. I have a pair of Tackla 9000s with the zippers and they fit about the same. Tight in the waist, long and loose in the legs. I hope that answers your question somewhat.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You did well! :)

I am 6' 2" tall, and I loved the 9000 in a 50 +2. Since you are going custom, for your height, I would recommend a +1.

You might want to consider a 48. I just bought Tackla Air 9000 in size 50 and typically wear a 34" pant, and I have to really pull them tight to get them snug on my waist. It wasn't an issue when I first got them, but after a couple of skates, they pulled right up over my hips without any resistance. I'm 5'8", so I can't comment on the length issue.
