Best shooting pattern

Recommended Posts

Totally depends on your technique and preferences.

You're gonna get different answers from everyone, depending on their style of play. Personally, I prefer using Sakic/P92/Draper because I feel like it settles the puck down when I'm shooting forehand. I don't have any problems lifting the puck on my backhand either, but I know a few guys who stay away from this curve for that reason.

I love the shot i get on the the Sakic/P92/Draper pattern i can get the puck up with ease...now on the backhand for me, not so much...i have to work on my mechanics to get a better backhand with this curve.

Just wanted to get peoples opinion as to what they think is the best shooting pattern for slap shots or wrist shots

From a purely technical standpoint I'd have to go with some variety of banana curve seeing as you specified only slaps and wrist shots.

Other than that PP is the ole cliche.
