Wrong Tuuk Size?

I recently purchased a new pair of Nike Bauer One55 skates. I was checking out the new Lightspeed 2's (since I haven't played in about seventeen years) and I noticed it is a 272 on a 8.5 EE? I tried to learn about the holder online and all sites say that size skate should have a 280 holder. Sorry if this is a dumb question. GREAT site by the way!

I believe I have 272 on my One95s size 8.5. A while ago I compared some online sites' data to what my old RBKs were and the holder size online was wrong as well. Your best bet is to look at the end of the most recent Bauer catalog - I believe the data is all there.

I thought the same thing when i put my LS2 on my S15. With a 8.5ee a 280 holder fits fine there's no problems, you're golden

I just went thru this issue with my Supreme70's. I cracked the holders and the replacements they sent me were 263mm which it says is the standard size on the website but my skates had a 272mm and they are a size 7.5D. I checked someone else's newer 7.5D's and he has a 263mm. Maybe on last years skates they had different sizes, not sure.

I tried on a pair of One55's size 7.5D at my LHS and they had 263mm Tuuks.

I know on this years One75 the 7.5D has a 263 and the 8D has a 272. I was torn between the two skate sizes and that was one of the variables since I've been on 272's for as long as I can remember.

I spoke with the Bauer Warranty Rep. He said that they just go off of a standard sizing chart when they send out replacements and that he has seen skates that come from different factories end up with different size holders/runners.

I just saw a pair of size 1.5d and 2.5d junior skates with a size 221mm holder this week.
