Muskoka Gloves

I recently purchased a pair of new ZR970's which I am very pleased with. I am, however, having a little trouble adjusting to the feel of the palms. I have worn top end TPS and Vaughn gloves in the past and the Muskoka palms feel really thick compared to my old gloves. I searched but didn't find any information, so I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of leather the Muskoka palms are made out of.

I don't know the difference between all the different palm types out there, just that these are much thicker than my Vaughns and TPS. Anyone with Muskokas or info on their palms feel free to add your opinions, or anyone who has sold them in the past.

I had a pair of the 970s and loved the palms, they were so soft and supple right off the shelf. I don't recall if they were leather or goat though. They were a bit on the thick side but great palms none the less.

The palms on my Muskokas did feel thick off the shelf, leather as far as I know, but I'm on my second pair and they have been the best gloves I've owned. The feel is just fine as they are plenty soft.

Thanks, I too love the gloves. Just wasn't sure what the palms were as they are thicker than most, but quite supple and very comfy.
