Chris Prongers Skate Guards

Hey I have wanted to know this for awhile what are those skate guards chris pronger has attached to his shin pads that dangle around his skates, I see brent seabrrok has it to just wondering if i could make some or buy some and where to get these.

I was wondering the same thing and found this on his website www.chrispronger.com

this is in his blog section. He played for STL Blues for years and I loved this guy. I love how he cross checks everything in sight.

The flap that is banging around my ankles in front of skates is actually a pad that I have incorporated over the last 8-9 years to help my feet stay somewhat healthy while I block shots. There is a piece of hard shin pad inside the pad to help aid in dispersing the shock of a shot to my foot. It has worked quite well over the years and has probably saved me a few times from breaking my foot. While it doesn’t stop the pain or the sting of a slapshot it definitely helps to protect.
