TPS XN10 Pro Stock P31 RH curve

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is going to give me a OPS TPS XN10 Pro Stock P31 RH curve. I haven't seen the stick yet, but he said it was more of a heel curve. Has anyone ever heard of a P31 Pro Stock curve from TPS?? Just curious...thanks.

I have a P31 pro stock tapered blade......it is about a 1/2 heel curve with a mildly open mid/toe

Sounds similar to an Easton Drury...Do you know the lie of it?

P31 is a clone of Easton's "RP" (Roenick Pro, not "Styles")

It matched up perfectly with the Styles SL I got from you.

It has been my curve of choice for the last four or five years. 5ish lie, 1/2" heel, more open than modano but less than a drury. Let me know if you don't like it.

Will do. I might try it out tuesday night, so I'll let you know.

I'm down to my last half dozen shafts and almost as importantly, only have four of the old style blades left.

It was a sad day when someone stole my last XN10 shaft......I was in disbelief to say the least.

Damn....I've never played w/ that much of a heel. Definitely might take some time getting used to; especially for stickhandling.....If I ever can get used to that curve at all ;)

That looks way bigger than any of mine, not a great angle. I'll post some pics of mine when I get my sale pics up.

Terrible pic, but a P31 on the left, Maltby (YP) on the right

and the old pics were still on the server

The p27 (right) is the darby clone

From all the RPs and "Styles" I've seen they are nearly identical, if not identical.

Did he change his pattern when they changed the name to Styles? I just thought it was his nickname on what others called the RP.

You sure that was a Styles? Was so long ago, I don't remember.

The list I have showed P13 as Sundin's original PP with "us" at the time and P31 was what he switched to, which was RP. P19 was YP, P27 was Darby, P119 was a HORRIFIC Sakic Retail clone, while P91 was a PERFECT Sakic Pro clone. P05 was Lidstrom retail and we had no clone for Iginla retail which had just come out at the time.

I gave it to a girl that worked for me at the shop that was a huge Roenick fan, it was a styles. May not have been exact but it was damn close if it wasn't exact. 13 was nice but I like the extra depth of the 31. I've seen a few of the 119s and it was a decent curve, just a horrible copy.
