P91 cruve

I am a really big fan of the P91 johnson curve , i have used them all season and found them in various places on the net but i havn't been able to find any lately , I was

wondering if anyone has an idea of where i could find some and possibly get them shipped to canada

ps. I am not looking for the staal curve P91a sometimes websites say p91 when they mean the staal curve

depends what stick you are looking for, www.icewarehouse.com has the one95 and xxxx in the P91 if you want a high end ops. 87 and 102 are both in stock it looks like.

I was pretty sure the only difference between P91 & P91a is .5 lie difference? If you search there's tons of threads that confirm it...

in fact I have 2 XXXX sticks - a pro stoch with P91a curve & a retail P91 - the curve itself is identical!

Yea, you're right. P91A is a Drury clone. P91 is a .5 off on lie.

I think its a huge difference , the curve feels bigger and it just looks and feels mentally different. It is probably all in my head , but when i compare the 2 it is a huge difference.

I have no idea what you're comparing man, but it sounds like apples to oranges ;)

I can post pics if needed as I have 2 sticks side by side in front of me, and P91 vs P91A looks completely identical at least for bauer sticks!

This summer I bought a Vapor XXX lite P91 curve somewhere down in Toronto. With my bad luck with sticks it broke within the 30 days sent it in and got a P91A Staal in return. Well I'm certainly not going to complain, they warrantied my stick but that's not the question. I ordered 2 more XXX Lites online with the P91 curve. Once they arrived I compared both curves and to me there is a big difference in the two. In the description they seem almost identical but they certainly play differently. I found that the P91A was just a straight blade with a heel curve on it. And my P91's had this kink at the heel of the blade something like this / . I'm sure you understand what I mean. But that .5 difference in the lie makes a huge difference in how this curve plays and handles a puck. I know most of you guys will say just find a heel curve with a higher lie. But my first ever heel curve was the P91. And from this day I cant get used to anything else. the closest I found up to this day is my pro stock Stealth CNT. Its a Drury but it looks like they messed up bad on the curve, because it has a curve on it with the Drury added on haha. I know some of this may sound idiotic to some haha but this is the best I could decribe my situation.

I completely understand where you are coming from. This happened to me as well. I just can't seem to get used to the p91A. I feel there is quite a difference. I am also quite picky when it comes to curves so that adds to it too.
