Skate Sizing Question

Alright, My question is for my roommate who is in need of new skates....His skates now are 9.5 CCM 1152 Blue Tacks and were wondering what size he would be in the newer model skates like 95's, U+ and such. I know the obvious choice is to go to the LHS and try them on but he will be potentially buying from an outside source and we don't want to waste the LHS time... Any help you can give me would be awesome
