CCM vs. RBK vs. JOFA

I'm thinking about some new shin pads, and right now I have Jofa 9090's. I understand the 9K is pretty much the same pad as the 9090, but what, if anything, compares from CCM? Would I be able to get a CCM shin instead of the Reebok model?

I guess this question could be expanded to the entire protective line, so what's different about high-end CCM in relation to high-end Reebok? Is there a target audience, so to speak, for each label?

Both are very good shin pads and very similar in construction. A little wider than most shin pads on the market overall. The CCM offer a bit more in the way of ventilation. They have ventilation holes in the knee and front of the hard plastic in front. Both high end shin pads offer excellent protection and padding. The newer Reeboks I find are a little wider than the older high end model Jofa pads ( 8090's and 9090's) and don't taper down at the ankle area nearly a much as the older model Jofa shins. I don't think you can go wrong with either model. In my opinion CCM/Reebok still make the best shin pads on the planet.

Thanks duch, I agree that Jofa shins are the best around. Do the CCM pads fit like Jofa/Reebok pads too?

The Reebok 10K's are selling for $109.99 and up, while the CCM V10's are going for $79.99, so there's got to be some sort of protection difference between the two pads, right?

The V10 shins came out last season for CCM, the 10k shins are coming out now, and is responsible for the majority of the price difference.
