Ahriman 1 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 Um.... seems to have good durability for me so far, light (though not even close to the U+), I like the feel and balance to it but I'm not really all that picky. It was their top end stick until the U+ was added on top of the line up. The shaft comes really long in regular and stiff flex, I had to cut off about 3-4" to make it as long as a standard bauer stick so if your tall that keeps you from needing an end plug. thehomez 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 My buddy bought that stick a bit back and loved it but unfortunately the blade cracked in half on it after about 3 months of use. He used it about 3-4 times per week but he did keep good care of it. Also, I think it was the '07 model and he loved its weight and performance, obviously wasn't happy it broke that early though... Razr 2 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 depends on which 10.0 you're talking about... The oragne one was pretty sweet shaft-wise, but the blades sucked! then CCM came out with the 10.0 Catapult which was a bit stiffer of a shaft feel and had better durability in the blade... I liked the Orange one's responsiveness a little bit better but the Catapult wasn't a bad stick at all. As for the U+- I think that thing is a joke. it's got decent balance but the feel of the stick it self feels terrible. I would NEVER use it again.
hockey1933 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 10.0 - I use it, they are very durable for me, not as much as the old CCM original 110, (the most durable retail composite stick ever),but they hold up better for me than anything else in the market. There were some blade issues for sure, fortunately it never affected me and mine held up well. I like the performance a lot as well. One of my all time favorite sticks. I use the Recchi, but as I am sure you know the Ovi is like an old Drury.I will say the 10, or any Catapult for that matter, performs/feels differently than any other stick. If you are a big fan of the low kick point, this stick is probably not for you.Razr, you are the first person I have heard not like the U+. It is too light for me, but I still like the feel and performance. Everyone I know that has tried them loves em.
