My Mission NME Nine-1 skates are killing my foot

Recommended Posts

I've worn my NME Nine-1's three times after baking. First time was fine, second time I got a blister, and third-they killed the inside of both my feet. I believe this is due to my very flat feet and the VERY stiff boot. The problem is that I there is a bone on the inside of my feet and when I step, they kind of flatten (my feet) and the bone pushes out.

When I baked my skates, I didn't put any pressure on the skates so my feet weren't flat so it kind of molded differently. My questions is should I rebake them and put a little pressue down so my feet flatten or just take a heat gun to the one side of each skate and put some pressure on my feet. Thanks for the help.

I have similar foot expansion problems with One75s and a regular bake followed by the FIT machine. I baked them again and stood up without flexing forward and they fit like a charm now.

I had what sounds like the same problem as you. I was getting blisters and rubbing on the arch of my one foot from it going up and collapsing when I took pressure on and off my foot. I rebaked them, and put Superfeet in them. Not sure if it was just the insoles or a combination of the two, but they feel great now.

Rebaked my skates and put some weight down so my feet flatten but they still hurt like hell. It's not the blister but rather the bone pushing against the side of the skate. It's kind of bruised right now so its sensitive so I'll wait a few days to try it again. Would punching that area of the skate help?
