Dropping Friends From a Beer League Team

All these folks who get so worked up about who they play with kill me. Just f'in relax, don't take it so seriously and play. Life is about compromises. People would be a lot happier if they didn't hold grudges all the time (esp. grudges about who they want to play beer league with :P ) .

The whole reason to play with beer league is friends. There's not a damn thing wrong with wanting to play with specific people.

There is something wrong with playing several levels below you ability, let alone doing that and going all-out to score as much as possible. If the leagues are defined by talent or ability, sometimes you have to play with new people.

Dropping friends = bad luck

Our team finished 4th out of 8 teams in the 2008 River Falls WI over 40 Fatboy tournament.

We dropped some friends and loaded up with ringers for 2009. We finished dead last in 2009.

Great town and fun games. The big event is the last weekend in March.

I hope we bring all the regular guys to the games tourney 3/2010.
