RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Okay...maybe I'm just an idiot. I got a Samsung Vice phone. But, my computer doesn't recognize it when I plug in the USB...it charges...but isn't recognized as a device. The Samsung website talks about using PC Studio to manage Media on the phone (video/MP3). The phone didn't come with any software...and I can't find a DL link on the site for it.n/m...I think I found it.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted July 15, 2009 I picked up a Micro SD card for this phone....the phone reads the card okay....but my computer won't read it using the SD Adaptor. My card reader still reads the xD for my camera.I get an I/O error when I put the new card in.Did I get a dud Adaptor? or is it a compatibility issue? IBM Win XP machine...fairly new. DEATHTRON 19 Report post Posted July 17, 2009 You mentioned that it has some software for managing content to the phone...Does the SD card for the phone work in the camera? Maybe has something to do with formatting if the phone wasnt recognized by the IBM. Maybe with the card in the phone you can push content through the program....Zach

But, the reader in my laptop reads the card okay....so I'm guessing there is a problem with the card reader on my main computer.
rogue 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2009 What storage capacity does your micro sd card have? How many years old is your PC? Is the card reader USB or built in? Model# of the PC?If your card is SDHC (SD high capacity) there is a chance that your card reader cannot read SDHC cards, only SD cards. While the form factor is the same there are some internal memory structure differences.

That might be the problem right there...My laptop is newer than my Desktop.Thanks.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 ...bump...OK...I'd like to think that I am not a stupid person...but every time I try something new with this damn phone....I get stumped.Ontario has brought in a ban on all devices in cars...so I bought a bluetooth headset for my phone...but I can't get it to "pair" with the phone.Samsung Vice / Jabra BT350 I have the headset in "pairing mode" I've set the phone to look for new devices...and it's sitting there searching....5-10 minutes at a time...nothing.WTF? RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Okay..this is getting stupid. I bought a Motorloa HS805 BT earpiece. The guy at the store paired them...so I knew they were compatible...I made a couple calls to test it...and when I got home, I turned off the headset. When I went to use it again...it was still in the 'trusted device' list...but my phone would not connect to it. So, I deleted it it figuring I would start over. Now the damn phone won't see the device.Eff technology!
