Easton Gloves - 4 rolls.

Recommended Posts

Those are the custom, made in canada model. The seller is TSR Hockey in Salem, NH. I'd previously asked them about the gloves and the response was "The gloves are a made-to-order glove new for this year. They are not pro stock, we just had them made in certain colors."

that looks like the pro-stock glove to me and not the E-Pro.

Can you go into more detail?

The rreason I ask is:

The palm has the overlay, like on the Epro. My pro model doesnt have that.

They also have the Easton Symbol on the wrist protector, like the Epro. My pro model has a different synergy logo.

But the inner liner is the same silver as the pro model.....the Epro has a black liner as far as I can tell.

I know they are custom because they are not a stock color. So they are not the "pro stock"....but they are custom color shitty E-Pros?

If so, $150 is way high.

These are all just guesses from info I read here.

First I think all custom Eastons this year will be labeled E-pro.

The stock Epros seem to have back roll inserts and that's it, mesh (black) gussets and black liners.

The Easton's from Al's LOOK like they have inserts through out, different gussets and the bio-liner (silver). So I think Al's may have the custom order ones that are close or equal the pro-stock gloves.

Once again, these are just guesses! I don't really know.

So, in essence, are you saying that the Easton retail 4-roll is the crappy E-Pro, and if it is done as a custom order, it will be the Pro-Stock model with the better materials and construction like the synergy pro models out there....with better inserts, liner, etc?

I believe so, yes.

I think the difference in epro and customs was discussed in the Easton Catalog thread, but you'd have to search through it.

I own a pair of the Rangers Easton gloves (now sold out) from TSR and I can assure you that they are not the retail EPro. The TSR custom ones are made in Canada and are a fantastic glove. I was a bit worried by the black insert, but it is very thin and blends fine with the rest of the palm. You won't notice it much, if at all, when you are playing.

I read that thread back when it was active and it was vague and contradictory in areas.

JR says all custom gloves from Canada will be the Pro model.

JR post

Yet TBLfan says that the Pro glove and the custom order Epro are not the same.

TBL post

I have a feeling the only way I will know for sure is if I actually buy them. I dont think I will take that chance and just continue to use my all black pro model.

Im almost 100% positive these are made in canada pro gloves.

You can easily tell the difference with the retail cheapet e-pro just by looking at them.

Easily in person? I am having a difficult time distinguishing them just looking at pictures.

What are the differences you see from the pictures?

the palm is not what is stock on the E-Pro.

EPro : "Palm is comprised of a comfortable beige Nash with a textured black Nash overlay for added feel and durability "

Ebay pair : "WHITE NASH PALMS W/BLACK REINFORCEMENTS"

They look the same but different color.
