New Kor Skates

I was at a prospect camp in Detroit and one of the coaches that used to be an affiliate of Calgary had a new pair of skates. He said they were called Kor skates. The skates are made with the same concept as the Synergy skates. So there lighter. He said they were to go for around 500(US).

If you guys want to see a picture of them go to korhockey.com, they are the Shift 1 model. There really lite.

Have any of you guys heard anything else about them

I know three guys that have them so far and say they're the best skate they've ever had. Each guy plays Bantam aaa or Midget AAA so they know the game decently well. They say the biggest thing is turning, they couldnt really describe the difference but just in terms of feel it was far superior to anything.

Is it me, or do the Shift 1s look exactly like Vapor XXs? I mean even the little blue ribber on the ankle bone area is there. They use the same material down the saide of the eyelets. Even the tendon guard is very similar.

as for price, I hear they may be closer to Vapor XX, Vector Pro, et.al in price than the Synergy

yes they look a lot like the Vapor XX cosmetically..
