HattrickSwayze 3 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 Hey, has anybody had any experience with the local shops doing custom skates in the Washington/Vancouver area?? My left foot's atleast a half size bigger than my left and I had to make a compromise when I bought my One75's. My poor left toe is being crushed by my left skate being too small. If I buy a skate that fits my left foot, then my right skate is a half size or more too big. I'm thinking about going custom to remedy the problem, but I don't know of any shops around here that do custom options and how good their service is. If I were to go custom I was leaning towards Graf or Bauer.I was watching a video on how Graf does their customs and saw the guy doing the vacuum-fit insoles, and the analysis of where you put your weight. Any good shops that have that kind of service, instead of just measuring your foot and that's it?
Krev 86 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 The Hockey Shop and/or Cyclone Taylor should be able to help you out there.
tips09 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 The Hockey Shop and/or Cyclone Taylor should be able to help you out there.Agreed, I would give them a call and let them know what your looking for. I'm sure both of these places will be able to help you out. Both are very highly regarded shops.
