That is the page of recent changes, the page I linked says

MODELS CURRENTLY CERTIFIED TO ASTM F1045-07

I'm going to guess the helmets already produced are good through the end of their certified life span, but I do not know. I have sent an email to HECC and hope to have an answer at some point.

Yeah, these contradicting statements are REALLY confusing. I'm just going to the local pro shop, and picking up a NBH 2500 cage.

From what I could tell, they have the 99 and 07 certifications. The Intake was certified in 03 or earlier with the 99 cert, but not with the 07. What those mean beyond the year the certification was developed, I have no idea (i.e. are 07 helmets more protective against a certain kind of impact, etc).

It would be helpful if they had two pages, one of currently produced certified helmets, and one of discontinued certified helmets.

Either way, it looks like the removal is related to the production and not some problem with the Intake, so they should still be good. Still getting myself a 5100 when I get the cash though :)

I believe it costs the company to keep it on the certified list. The admin/legal council link bombed and the helmet testing guy is out of the office for the rest of the week. I will do my best to check up on it again next week.
