I don't care if they are free or not.If you have a pro team around your area, go to a practice and hope someone breaks one and then ask the equipment manager. Beware though, some of them are assholes. Like I went to a Blues practice and Perron broke a stick, a One95 right at the blade. I asked David if I can have it and he said yeah and pointed to the equipment manager with the stick and said for me to get it from him.. I wanted to get it and put a new blade to use it myself. Well I had a Perron shirt on, and pretty much begged for the damn stick. Everyone else even was telling the guy to give me the damn thing, because I am about as obsessed with DP as he and is brother are with Kovalev and its pretty obvious. Well that prick gives it to some little 2 year old picking his nose. And right after that the dad grabs it from the kid, said he wanted to sell it. I was absolutely pissed, to say the least.. Best of all, this same prick did the same thing to 3 other guys standing next to me also trying to get broken sticks.You can also make friends with the zamboni guy, also a good way to get the occasional free open hockeyAsk people who break them for them, some people dont really care when they break it or dont know about the SRS systemDumpster Dive!
