Where to get Ranger and Islanders tickets?

Recommended Posts

I am going to NYC in late october and i have the change to see a couple of the Danish NHL players in action :D . The Coyotes play at MSG on the 26/10 and Rangers are on Long Island on the 28/10.

I´ve like to get tickets to those two games with great seats. Where can i get tickets?

Your best bet for the Rangers is to go to Ticketmaster Ticket-exchange, I got tickets for two games when I went across about a month before the end of the regular season, as there was none available from the regular Ticketmaster site:

NYR TicketExchange

It's good because they just email you the tickets, which you print off and take, instead of having to queue at the ticket office or anything.

With regards to the Islanders, I don't know, but if they are anything like the Devils, then the payment system they use for credit cards only accepts American cards (apparently all other teams are the same?)

The Rangers are different, they can accept credit cards from any country, obviously as the Rangers are in more of a tourist hot spot.

Might just have to do what I did and go to the ticket office at Nassau Coliseum when you get over there.

Have been looking on those but not found anything :(

i'm pretty sure individual tickets go on sale for the islanders starting 8/15, not sure about anyone else though.

That is correct. As for the Islanders even with them getting Tavares I can't see any game going sold out that early into this season unless its vs. the Rangers. You could most likely pick them up day of from the box office at the Coliseum.

I bought Devils' tickets last season with my canadian credit card. It was on ticketmaster and they shipped the tickets to Canada.

Islander tickets you can get the day of or a few days before unless its a game vs the Rangers because the Rangers draw a large crowd of their own fans to the game. The Rangers "sell out" every home game so the best way to get tickets is from ticket master the day they go on sale or the MSG ticket exchange when you see a deal pop up. I norm buy my Opening night tickets and any divisional games the day they go on sale thru ticketmaster because those games on the ticket exchange can get pricey. Theres a Rangers board i post on too that has season ticket holders that sell tickets thru that if you want the link PM me.
