Question about Custom Skates

Start calling emailing your LHS and the manufacturer, and get a fitting setup with the rep if you dont trust the LHS employee's.

I know you seem pretty set on custom Bauers, but for what it's worth, my orthotics fit absolutely fine in Reebok 9k's and 5k inlines. They're a 3/4 orthotic. I put them right over the stock footbed and they're AOK.

Can a custom skate increase volume? I have a really thick wide foot, so i have graf 709s. But I am and easton whore and want to try a composite boot. Can a custom easton have enough volume for a 709 foot?
